Below is a link to a Closing Document for the Square project. The Cox Communications Release form has been signed by the internet installation worker. Phase Two of the project will ask the employees of SRG to sign the same release form. Before the release was introduced, all employees of SRG were informed of the benefits, deployment, and given the opportunity to ask questions and/or share their experiences using the Square.
Square Release Form
This form is an official release notifying all employeess at Sakonnet River Grille that a new system, the Square, will be deployed throughout the restaurant. Our research has shown that the Square has many advantages including faster turnovers, better organization, and faster communication. Many businesses with larger restaurants have successfully been using this system for a few years now including Applebee’s, Chili’s, The Square Peg, and The Beehive Cafe.
Deployment will begin in June 4th within the employees. There will be a meeting with the employees informing them of the new system and then shortly after a training to teach everyone how to use the system. Employees will continue to use their regular login pin number to put in orders, print receipts, etc. By beginning to mid-September, we will examine data and/or any issues to determine a date for final/official deployment for the restaurant.
